The world's newest film star: A washing machine

Last week, Samsung released a mesmerising TVC that watches a load of washing go round and round. Now, it's turning the idea into a feature film.

Promoted in a trailer on YouTube, Samsung has described it as a "hypnotic masterpiece sending critics into a spin" in the description. It will watch a 66-minute cycle from start to finish.

Ensuring the film is not your or average washing machine film, it will feature an original score by composer Michael Nyman, a virtuous performance by the Samsung QuickDrive washing machine and a guest appearance from Single Red Sock.
