
Auckland Design Week is back for the second year in a row, kickstarting its celebrations in March with a Design Conference spearheaded by Karim Rashid, one of the world most prolific designers.
Celebrating everything design in New Zealand’s biggest city, Auckland Design Week commences its celebrations on March 6 with a Design Conference.
The conference will cover a variety of topics, with sessions run by insightful leaders and industry innovators.
Rashid, who has had work exhibited across the world and has worked with luxury goods such as Veuve Clicquot, tech companies like Asus and Samsung and so much more, holds the keynote address where he will explore the future of design.
This keynote address looks at the transformative experiences that come with technology and blending that with creativity and humanity while also navigating this new world.

The conference will also be celebrating March as B Corp month and sustainable design with Amanda Niu, Co-founder of sustainable furniture and homewares brand Eva and Deadly Ponies co-founder Steve Boyd.
Industry experts on AI will come together to chat about the groundbreaking tools that are set to hit the market that will revolutionise the design world but also chat on ethics and cybersecurity.
And finally, the conference will highlight the contributions females have on the industry whether that be in film, animation, interior design and more.
To end the day, Auckland Design Week is set to host an evening of networking accompanied by a cocktail night.
