Digital collectible website, VeVe have been named 2023’s fastest growing company by Deloitte in their annual Fast 50 index.
In just one year, the digital collectible website recorded revenue growth of a hefty 1239 percent, a 13-fold increase.
Having started as a comic store on Auckland’s Karangahape Rd, VeVe has quickly become the platform for digital collectibles across the world.
Since its launch five years ago, VeVe has worked with global brands such as Disney, Marvel, and DC Comics and has sold more than 8 million collectibles.
2023 has been a great year for VeVe, with its Co-Founder David Yu being recognised as EY Entrepreneur of the Year.
Following closely in second place is Hirestaff, the recruitment platform, which recorded annual revenue growth of 834 percent revenue growth.
In third place, the clinical research centre, Optimal Clinical Trials recorded a 782 percent revenue increase.

2022’s fastest growing company, game design, development, and publishing studio, Legend Story Studios dropped down the list 13 places but still recorded a whopping 303 percent revenue growth.
Deloitte reveals that the top 50 companies in its index recorded an average revenue of $21.5 million in one year and a 304 percent growth.
Altogether, the top 50 companies contributed just over $1 billion to the New Zealand economy and created almost 2888 jobs.
The businesses on the index have an average age of seven years old and employ an average of 57 employees.
