Creative New Zealand women, lend us your ideas! Introducing the Idealog/Cointreau Creative Kickstart competition

We’re looking for New Zealand women with clever business ideas, worthy charity initiatives or interesting creative projects that need some assistance to take flight. So if that sounds like you, fill in the form below (and if that sounds like one of your friends or family members, nominate them) and you could win a prize pack worth a cool $3,000.

Submissions close on 1 July and the judges will choose the top three ideas. The finalists will then go through to the next round to pitch their ideas—in 3 minutes and 33 seconds—to a live audience on 4 August. The audience will use Idealog’s Pitch Circus app to decide the winner, so the more support you’ve got at the event, the better your chances of winning.

The winner takes away:

  • A $1,000 cash prize.
  • One hour of mentorship to help bring your idea to life.
  • A profile in Idealog magazine and on idealog.co.nz.
  • A prize from Cointreau

Along with the cocktails, the nibbles and the creative pitches, Lisa King, co-founder of social enterprise Eat My Lunch, will be telling her story and discussing business for good, feeding hungry school kids and her plans for the business now that it’s just turned one.

  • Tickets for the event are $29 and go on sale on the 4th July.
