100 years of beauty: haircuts through the ages

Cut Video
Over the last hundred years, the fashion world has gone through a number of innovations and rehashes, and it’s the same for hairstyles. Take a look at some of the “in” styles in the past, and see which one you like the most.

Produced by YouTube channel Cut Video, the 100 years of beauty series has showcased a number of haircuts from different countries. Different fads and fashions have led to wildly different interpretations of what’s hip and what’s not.

More importantly, beyond being observations of fashion, the haircuts featured also indicate cultural movements that happened in the different decades, with the Iranian and Korean haircuts showing the most change in society.

New videos are still going up with the latest featuring Mexican hairstyles. Take a look below and tell us what you think.
