VOTE NOW: the Idealog + Blunt + Generator Umbrella Experiment

The entry deadline for the Idealog + Blunt + Generator Umbrella Experiment is February 28. But don't forget to vote for your favourite designs, too.

As part of our design series, we've been asking our audience to submit a design that could end up on a limited-edition Blunt umbrella and net the winner a heap of prizes, including an iPad Pro and a six-month co-working tenancy at Generator for up to four people that’s worth $28,000.

You can learn about how to enter and what the rad prizes are here, and see the campaign page with all the entries here. But you can also judge other designs and vote for your favourites. The People's Choice winner will go through to the finals, vying for the win alongside four others that an all-powerful panel from Idealog, Blunt and Generator will select.

Here are some standout entries.

"Cats don't like rain." An excellent entry from Lily, aged 9.

Pop tiki indeed.

A balanced breakfast.

Retro wallpaper with a side of Aotearoa's history and identity.

Equity - reciprocation - interaction.

Makes you want to take a walk in the bush, no?

A modern take on the pohutakawa flower.
