NZ Marketing magazine/StopPress and the Marketing Association invited marketers from all industries to share the strategy, thinking and results of their marketing initiatives and, with the first round of judging complete, 60 unique marketing initiatives make up the 2017 finalists.

Leading the way is Auckland Transport/AT Metro, which has been recognised as a finalist nine times. Lion Breweries has six nods, while Loyalty NZ and ANZ both have five. VTNZ and Air New Zealand are also in the running with four finalist entries.
New Convenor of Judges John MacDonald says: “It’s exciting to see several new companies entering the TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards for the first time and being recognized as finalists. I would like to thank everyone who entered and congratulate everyone who has made it as a finalist. The competition was tough and the judges will have some difficult decisions ahead of them to pick this year’s winners. I wish to thank all the judges for their time and effort.”
Awards night is usually a sell-out with more than 700 marketers and their agency partners celebrating the success of their peers at a glamorous black-tie dinner.
