One of i29 Interior Architects' latest creations has taken minimalist design to a whole new level. At first look, this kitchen seems to consist of is a bench top and a tap, but there's actually a whole lot more going on.
The idea behind the project was to scale everything back to an absolute minimum, leaving only the essential. The designers were able to incorporate all the water, cooling and electrical connections within the surface of the bench, which is only a couple of centimetres thick.
They also copied the look of the existing walls of this Parisian apartment to create hidden cupboards for the pantry and smaller appliances.
