Raining Red (Peak)

Raining Red (Peak)
Earlier this week, I felt like a sucker. Chatting with a colleague at the coffee machine, I asked if he’d seen the Red Peak umbrellas Blunt were making.

He mercifully told me I’d been had – taken in by an internet meme, a Photoshop ruse.

But this afternoon, an email arrived. There was a delivery for me at reception. What could it be?

Nothing short of a real life goddamn Red Peak umbrella, with a kind note from Blunt (no, thank you Blunt!) about my flag missive from last month, where I incorrectly predicted that Red Peak wouldn’t make the referendum, but dared to dream the dream, to think the unthinkable: The power! The glory! etc, etc. (I got a little carried away.)

Anyway, here it is:

It’s real.

It’s Red Peak.
