?According to the Happy Planet Index, New Zealand clocks in at 28th when it comes to living a long, happy and sustainable life. And next month the Moodbank popup art project will be recording the emotions of Wellingtonians and creating a unique visualisation of how the city feels overall.
ATM-style Moodmachines will be set up in various locations and at the central Moodbank (29 Manners St, the old ASB Bank), visitors will be asked to visualise, deposit and exchange their moods. Individuals and groups can book appointments with the Moodmanager for a more detailed visual mapping of how they feel.
Design lecturer Dr Sarah Elsie Baker and artist Vanessa Crowe are behind the project – you can read more at moodbank.co.nz.
