Overland Footwear has been voted the best company to work for in New Zealand, while newcomer Vend was deemed the best small workplace in the Kenexa Best Workplaces survey for 2012.

Formerly known as the JRA Best Workplaces Survey, it's New Zealand’s largest annual workplace climate-employee engagement survey based on confidential feedback from staff. Organisations that achieve the best survey results are celebrated as the best work environments in New Zealand as judged by their own employees.

In addition to being named overall winner from 289 organisations, Overland Footwear claimed this year’s title Best Large Workplace, while also retaining its place in the Five-Year League.

For the second year running, Brother International (NZ) and Mars New Zealand retained their top spots in the Small-Medium and Medium-Large Workplace categories.

Most Improved Awards were also awarded in each category and included ACCO New Zealand, AgITO, Christchurch International Airport and The Trusts.
