Former Fonterra chief executive Andrew Ferrier will be the new chair of the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise board come November, replacing Jon Mayson.
His NZTE role will run for three years.
Ferrier left Fonterra in September after eight years, and is a director of Orion Health and CANZ Capital.
Born in Canada, he has been a New Zealand citizen since 2008.
Businesswoman Julie Christie, consultant Charles Finny and Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce chief executive Peter Townsend have all been reappointed to the NZTE board for a second three-year term.
