The Icehouse and Telecom have launched Growing Better Business, an after work event with tips on growing business performance and a chance to network with other business owners.
The first event will be at Auckland's Telecom Place on Thursday 26 September, with Icehouse co-founder David Irving speaking about growing through governance.
Icehouse CEO Andy Hamilton says the event is a relaxed way for business owners to get together.
“It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind and often working in or owning a SME can be lonely. This event gives business owners the chance to meet others just like them and hopefully they will leave with a new connection who can help them or take away some tips they can easily implement in their business,” he says.
“The chance to gain insights from people with a breadth of experience like David is something I hope business owners will jump at. No matter what stage your business is at, there is always room to improve and grow. Events like this one provide the perfect opportunity to do that."
