Final call! Enter the New Zealand Innovators Awards now

Are you an inspired innovator? Or do you know of anybody whose ideas deserve to be recognised and celebrated? Then don't forget to have your say by entering or nominating for the 2013 New Zealand Innovators Awards here. Entries close on this Friday, 23 August, at 5pm sharp, so make sure no brilliant Kiwi entrepreneur's hard efforts go unrewarded. 

The Awards Event will be held in Auckland on 17 October, showcasing innovative talents in eight categories as well as a host of other awards including the most inspiring individual and supreme winner. 

Revolution Fibres was crowned supreme winners at last year's awards for using nanotechnology to create super strong fibres predominantly for air filters for home ventilation systems, high-strength fishing rods and fabric to enhance skin healing.

Vaughn Rowsell's Vend won the top prize in 2011 for its development of a cloud-based point-of-sale payment system.
