Revolution Fibres was crowned supreme winners at last year's awards for using nanotechnology to create super strong fibres predominantly for air filters for home ventilation systems, high-strength fishing rods and fabric to enhance skin healing.
Vaughn Rowsell's Vend won the top prize in 2011 for its development of a cloud-based point-of-sale payment system.
