New Zealand designer Annah Stretton has just launched a campaign called, ‘Come on Oz, say I do’ as part of New Zealand Fashion Week.
Stretton is running a competition that will give one Australian same-sex female couple a wedding on the catwalk at Fashion Week on September 7, where they will each be dressed in designer gowns by Annah Stretton.
In addition to the catwalk wedding, the couple will also receive flights from their nearest capital city, an after party for 250 guests and an exclusive video and photography package.
But still there’s more; Stretton will also dress the entire bridal party and all guests invited to her show.
The competition is both a celebration of New Zealand’s decision to allow same-sex partners to marry from August 19 but also a cheeky gesture of encouragement for our Australian neighbours to follow our lead and say ‘I do’ to same sex marriage.
Couples can enter the competition during the month of July by visiting the ‘Come on Oz, say I do’ website.
