Yellow's The Biz series stops off in Auckland tonight before continuing to tour its free event to other major centres in the country, giving SMEs an audience with guest speakers who will share their marketing and accounting insights, particularly in the digital environment.
The series has already visited Whangarei, and after Auckland it will travel to Hamilton, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Napier, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin and Tauranga.
Janene Draper, co-founder of Farro Fresh Food, will be a guest speaker at the Auckland event. Other speakers in The Biz series include, entrepreneur Tenby Powell, ecostore's Malcolm Rands, owner of SHE Chocolat Declan Scott and more. View the full list of speakers here.
Yellow marketing director Evan Lawrey says The Biz was created in response to their SME Digital Readiness Survey, which found that 49 percent of Auckland businesses do not have a website. And Lawrey believes having a website is only the first step saying it is, "increasingly important for websites to be mobile-friendly for people who search on the go.”
