The theme for this year's International Marcomms Forum, presented by the CAANZ Marcomms Leadership Group, is Creative is not a department - PR's place at the marketing table. The forum will explore the importance of creativity to modern marketing, with our very own Hazel Phillips as MC and Vincent Heeringa as Panel Chair.
The keynote speaker for the event is Marian Salzman (see Salzman's interview with StopPress) who was named last year by Business Insider as one of the 25 Most Powerful People in PR but is best known for her trendspotting.
Another speaker featuring at the forum is Kat Thomas, managing director of One Green Bean in Sydney, which recently received the accolade of first Australian PR agency to receive a PR Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
The forum line-up will be concluded with a discussion about the recent Mini 'Driving Dogs' campaign by SPCA New Zealand CEO Christine Kalin and DraftFCB senior creative Peter Vegas.
