Chocolate meets couture in Cadbury competition

Chocolate meets couture in Cadbury competition

Applications are open for designers to try their luck at crafting couture with Cadbury chocolate foils and a little imagination.

The Cadbury Couture competition has two categories: an open category and a category specifically for fashion students. Entrants will be provided with a pack of materials from Cadbury that must be used in their design.

The event will take place at the Dunedin Cadbury Chocolate Carnival on July 23, with profits raised from ticket sales going to Te Whare Pounamu Dunedin Women's Refuge.

Finalists will have their pieces of wearable art showcased at the Cadbury Couture runway show, which boasts the theme 'what does joy look like'? Margi Robertson from NOM*D will be at the event as a guest judge and the winner will receive a $500 VISA Prezzy Card. There are also prizes for second and third place.

For entry details, visit the Chocolate Carnival website.
