BurgerFuel has opened its largest store yet in Riyadh, the capital
city of Saudi Arabia, which can cater to (excessiveness alert) more than 250 customers.
The giant store reflects local culture and dining style with the restaurant literally split in half – families on one side and bachelors dining on the other.
Chris Mason, BurgerFuel worldwide chief executive of international, said it broke its record for the highest sales ever on opening day at the Riyadh branch.
BurgerFuel, which won Franchise Exporter of the Year at the Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards 2012, is operated in Saudi Arabia by local master licence holders, Abdullah Fouad.
The New Zealand company now has 10 stores in the Middle East, across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Iraq – with stores in Egypt and Qatar due to open in 2013.
