New Zealand businesses can now nab a company name, domain name and trademark in one go using the government's new ONECheck tool.
Launched today by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, ONECheck is an online search engine that combines the functions of three different websites.
Economic development minister Steven Joyce said the product was a step towards the government’s planned one-stop online shop for businesses from the Better Public Services initiative.
“This new online search tool integrates, refines and improves current government services to businesses,” Joyce said.
“The importance of this cannot be underestimated when you consider that 90 percent of businesses have contact with one or more government agencies at least once a year."
