This month marks angel investor Bill Payne's third visit to New Zealand, and he'll be taking a day to lead a workshop offering an insight into the world of startup capital, from a look at who's who in New Zealand investment, what investors are looking for, the pitching process and the fine print.
He'll be supported with a number of local experts offering Kiwi perspectives: Chris Twiss, director of the Seed Co-investment Fund; Alexei Dunayev, founder and CEO of Transcribe Me, which have recently raised nearly $1m from angel investors around the world; Ken Erskine, director of startups at The Icehouse; and other angel investors.
