Angels on board with agri-tech company Kahne

Animal health specialist Kahne has picked up $2 million in angel investment from Movac, and plans to launch its technology commercially in 2013.

Animal health specialist Kahne, which is developing wireless sensors to be placed inside cows to provide farmers with information on their health, has picked up $2 million in angel investment from Movac.

According to Fairfax, Kahne plans to launch its technology commercially in 2013.

The technology aims to improve the speed with which dairy cows are impregnated and alert farmers when animals are becoming sick.
