Outpost is doing its bit for the global water shortage with its smart water meters and sensors.
Water may be the elixir of life, but there’s not nearly enough of it to go around and its scarcity is becoming a political priority around the globe.
Outpost helps to conserve the global supply through its smart water meters and sensors. These connect to its web platform using mobile networks, delivering real time information on customers’ water consumption, automatically detecting leaks, and producing tools and reports to reduce demand.
The Kiwi technology is being exported to Africa, Asia, Europe and Australia (80 percent of revenue is from overseas) to commercial and industrial customers, but trials are also under way for residential water metering.
