Westpac is further fuelling the Kiwi property obsession by launching an online tool for home buyers in conjunction with TradeMe that pulls in QV valuations, mortgage calculations, comparable sales data, street views and other key elements to the house hunting process.
HomeClub will let users import their TradeMe property watchlists, at which point they can interact with HomeClub's other features in relation to a given listing, and of course, provides an easy path to Westpac, which has almost a fifth of the mortgage market.
HomeClub is available to everyone, not just customers of Westpac.
The bank also hopes to incorporate home loan pre-approval functionality into HomeClub.
