The awards are presented in more than 140 cities worldwide. Each year, the overall winner from each country gathers in Monte Carlo for the annual Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award.

Last year's winner was Bill Buckley of BSL Buckley Systems, and in 2010 Tim Alpe of Jucy Group claimed the honour.
