Boundary Road Brewery is at it again and looking to round up a group of beer snobs to determine what brew it should release next.
Applications are now open for New Zealanders to become an Indian Pale Ale (IPA) taster for the Hunua-based brewery.
Serious beer lovers can apply here by March 23 if they can pass the Advanced IPA Aptitude Test.
The 500 most successful in the test will be sent a tasting pack of two IPA variants to judge and the most popular version will go on sale in May.
Boundary Road Brewery marketing manager Ben Shaw says IPA is a hugely popular style of craft beer internationally.
"As with ‘The Chosen One’, we think it’s important to give the decision to the people who will actually be enjoying our new IPA."
