New Zealand’s top green businesses will be brought together in one place with the launch of online directory NZ-CEN.
The Cleantech and Environment Network website aims to promote green companies and connect them with distributors and investors, as well as allowing members to share latest market news and best business practices.
The searchable directory launches on Monday and has 100 high-profile members on board, including Scion, LanzaTech and BECA. Members are categorised into 11 sectors, such as renewable energy and agriculture.
“NZ-CEN provides a great platform for profiling New Zealand's capabilities in clean technology and environmental innovation," says LanzaTech chief Dr Jennifer Holmgren. “Providing an online directory will make us that much more accessible – it basically gives the New Zealand cleantech industry more international credibility.”
NZ-CEN is not the first of its kind. There are similar sites in Australia, Denmark and Israel.
