A new international professional racing series will be making use of Kiwi car seats, starting in April.

A new international professional racing series will be making use of Kiwi car seats, starting in April.

Wellington-based Racetech, which develops its seats in conjunction with the FIA, is to supply seats for entrants into the Swedish TTA.

Racetech seats are used by drivers in tournaments including World Rally Cars and the V8 Supercars .

Managing director David Black told Fairfax the deal would result in priceless publicity for his company, which is attempting to crack the European and Scandinavian markets.

He said the company began distribution in Japan, Malaysia and South Africa last year.
