Auckland-based software company Endace is opening a new California office, to be led by Spencer Greene, former vice-president of product management at Juniper Networks.
Greene will lead Endace's worldwide product management and marketing and his appointment signals the company’s plan to establish a marketing headquarters in Silicon Valley, as well as increased investment in global marketing.
“Spencer’s skills and depth of experience are unique in the market
place. We’re thrilled to be able to welcome him onto the executive
team,” said Endace chief executive Mike Riley.
"His knowledge of networking infrastructure is second to none, and he is a true visionary. We all absolutely believe that he is exactly the right person to help further our product vision, and drive us into the mainstream.”
Greene comes to Endace with more than 20 years of high-technology experience and holds more than 25 US patents.
Endace provides open network monitoring and recording systems for security.
As well as its New Zealand base, Endace also has offices in the UK and US.
