A tasty and musically infused sustainability animation you have to see

Here’s a video that’s well worth taking two minutes out of your day to watch. We absolutely love this stop-motion animation by Irish filmmaker Johnny Kelly, showing the life of a farmer as he turns his family farm into an industrial animal factory before seeing the errors of his ways and opting for a more sustainable future. The beautifully executed short-film is accompanied by an awesome Willie Nelson cover of Coldplay’s song ‘The Scientist’. The video was commissioned by Chipotle Mexican Grill to show the importance of sustainably-sourced food and it will show in 5,700 theatres across the United States starting in September.

Commenting on the decision to make the film, Chipotle’s founder Steve Ells said:

“We produced this film to help illustrate the choices people face in deciding what to eat, and hope that it will encourage people to choose food that is raised with respect for the land, the animals, and the farmers that produce it.”
