Starling chair, from $2,345
If clean, pared-back lines are more your thing than brocade and lace doilies, the nononsense Starling Chair will be right up your alley. Eight years spent in the family interior design business provided a solid grounding for Cantabrian designer Cameron Foggo, who says his aim was to create a lounger with a simple, skeletal frame that wouldn’t block the flow of a room. Inspired by 50s-era Danish furniture, he came up with the concept while working at design firm De La Espada in London. Have it your way in oak or ash, Mexican or New Zealand leather, or even offwhite canvas for an outdoor setting.
