Urbanears headphones, from $100
For those who are bored with boring black and white, nobody does headphones as accessories better than Urbanears. The Scandinavian collective releases two annual lines, each typically including seven colours from the previous one plus five new shades. Another two hues are issued halfway through the cycle. Design-wise, you’ve got the choice of three models, each named after places and districts in Stockholm: the full-size Plattan, which handily folds down to the size of a fist; the lightweight and portable Tanto; or the minimalistic Medis (its patented EarClick system secures the earpiece at two separate points rather than one, keeping it firmly in place). All come with a microphone and are compatible with most Nokia, Blackberry, HTC and Apple devices using a standard 3.5mm connection, giving them the additional functionality of a headset. Coincidentally, three is also the number of headphones we have to give away (one of each kind is up for grabs). For the chance to win one, come up with a creative anagram using these words— Plattan, Tanto, Medis—and email it to email@example.com by 9 May along with your name and address.
