What are they up to at Weta these days? It turns out the fx shop is spending its time—some of it, anyway—making short films for Microsoft’s third Halo game. The first was unveiled at the E3 conference this week in California; check out the video below.
Weta says the short films are a collaboration between Bungie Studios, director Neill Blomkamp, Weta Workshop, Origami Digital LLC and HT Limited. It's a pretty succinct statement: it’s time to get that movie made. Good luck to Weta, Bungie and Blomkamp.
