Kim Dotcom's plans to launch a political party seem set for their next milestone, with the internet mogul tweeting that he will launch a website with information about its vision and candidates on January 20 next year, the "second raid anniverary".
He earlier tweeted, "WOW! I'm getting so many encouraging messages about my plans for a new political party. Thank you." and in another message on Twitter said he would get New Zealanders a new submarine cable, fair internet pricing and no more data caps.
A Torrent Freak article quoted Dotcom as saying he could be president of a new party but couldn't be elected into Parliament because he isn't a New Zealand citizen.
Idealog has yet to contact Dotcom for comment.
