If you're with Slingshot, and not regularly using up your data allowance, you'll be pleased to hear that your unused data will now roll over from one month to the next.
Data rollover applies to all its new broadband plans, and rolled-over data will not expire for a year.
“Our goal is to make sure that our customers not only get great value plans compared to our competitors, but that they also get the full value of the services they’ve paid for,” Slingshot chief executive, Mark Callander, says.
“Part of Slingshot's strategy is to compete heavily on product value and price and give New Zealanders a welcome alternative to the overpriced monopolies they’re used to."
Slingshot was recently named one of five finalists at the World Forum Broadband Awards in Amsterdam for its unlimited broadband plan ($70 a month with no data cap). The winner will be announced later this month.
