The ANZIAs have recognised excellence and innovation on the part of individuals, businesses, government and not-for-profits in all sectors that strive to improve the use and accessibility of the internet since 2008.
InternetNZ chief executive Vikram Kumar says New Zealand and Australia are a hotbed of internet-related innovation, with New Zealand companies more than able to keep up with the best in producing sophisticated applications.
Last year, a number of New Zealand organisations were recognised, including Aura RedEye Security, DTS Limited, Victoria University of Wellington (NZSL Online), Beek.co, the Department of Internal Affairs and Paperkut Paperless Receipts.
