Telecom embarks on search for new CEO

Telecom is officially on the hunt for a new CEO.

Current chief executive Paul Reynolds signalled in August that he intended to step down once Telecom was successfully established as an independent company post demerger.

Chairman Mark Verbiest said both internal and external applicants would be considered.

“The board understands the importance of moving rapidly to recruit a new CEO to lead the business forward in a post demerger environment, and to that end has already commenced the CEO recruitment process,” he said.
