Odds are at some point you've laid eyes on a piece of Greg Straight work in the past few years, on the back of a bus, on magazine shelves, in a bank, or even on a billboard.
He's worked with Westpac, The Edge, Les Mills, Whitcoulls and Matua Wine among others, and recently completed a very sharp new look for Chelsea Sugar, stamped with his signature bold graphics and bright hues.
After years as a graphic designer, Straight decided to return to his fine arts roots a couple of years ago, churning out a striking range of kiwiana art prints inspired by the tiki (read our previous interview with him here).
In that time, he's produced an impressive body of work, leading him to put on a showcase this summer at Auckland's newest hotspot, Cityworks.
The art show will include old favourites as well as new works, including a range based on his Chelsea artwork. Prints will be available for purchase starting at $85 for an A3 print.
Head along from next week onwards!
