The Street Trash Sculpture Clash hits Auckland this Sunday and it's an opportunity to get creative with trash, while you wait for the council to come collect the inorganics.
The organisers describe it as a "battle of creativity, community and action-pack environmentalism". The event will be in Otara (South Auckland) on 13 October and seven teams will battle it out on the streets for three hours to see who can construct a jumbo sculpture out of the trash that is waiting to be picked up by the council.
Registration is now open and entry is free. Click here for more information and to enter the event.
