Retro kitchen appliance makes a stylish comeback

Remember the SodaStream, the buzzing retro kitchen appliance in the days of old? Well, it's back and it's all grown up and stylish now.

The new SodaStream Source has launched in New Zealand, designed by internationally renowned Yves Béhar.

The appliance is available in high-gloss white, black or red colours, with a choice of Element or Metal finish.

According to the company, having a SodaStream at home saves the average home 550 plastic bottles every year (if you use plastic bottles, of course) so it won't just look good but also help reduce the household's carbon footprint.

The new SodaStream is available nationwide for an RRP of $199 for the Element model and $249 for the Metal one.
