The best commercial property developments in the country will be honoured at the Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards at a gala dinner at the Viaduct Events Centre on June 7.
Judges have selected a total of 78 finalists in categories ranging from office, retail and industrial properties, through to education and arts, and tourism and leisure.
The highest scoring property in each category is eligible for the coveted Supreme award – a change established in 2012 to provide greater recognition to the best commercial property developments in New Zealand.
Evaluation criteria include economic and financial factors, project vision and innovation, design and construction, owner and user satisfaction, and sustainability and efficiency of operation.
Property Council’s chief executive Connal Townsend said excitement is building for the awards evening. “Finalists information and judging scores are kept under lock and key as the panel makes its final decision of who will take home the coveted Supreme award.
“Tickets to the gala dinner event sold out in less than two weeks and we are set for 1000 industry members to join us as we celebrate and award excellence.”
Recent winners of the Supreme award include the Auckland Art Gallery, Higbbrook Business Park and the NZI Centre.
