Adobe Creative Suite is dead, long live the cloud
Adobe stops Creative Suite to focus on Creative Cloud subscriptions

Adobe Creative Suite 6 will be Adobe's final Creative Suite offering as the digital software giant is completing its the switch to the cloud

The response to the release of Adobe Creative Cloud last year was overwhelmingly positive and as a result the company has accelerated their move to a subscriptions model.

Creative Cloud members will benefit from software updates as soon as they become available, instead of needing to wait for new Creative Suite releases.

The New Zealand subscription price for a new user is $60 per month which includes access to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more. But you can still purchase membership to a single application.

Idealog has been covering the most interesting people, businesses and issues from the fields of innovation, design, technology and urban development for over 12 years. And we're asking for your support so we can keep telling those stories, inspire more entrepreneurs to start their own businesses and keep pushing New Zealand forward. Give over $5 a month and you will not only be supporting New Zealand innovation, but you’ll also receive a print subscription and a copy of the new book by David Downs and Dr. Michelle Dickinson, No. 8 Recharged (while stocks last).
