E-cards for the designer crowd

E-cards for the designer crowd

Love it or loathe it, Valentine's Day is upon us. But who could fail to be the slightest bit swayed by e-cards like these? is the latest out from Wellington-based Lucky Stairs Design Studio – e‑cards for people who appreciate good design. And they're free! (Or incredibly cheap, in some cases.)

You might have terrifying flashbacks to the mid-90s horrors you used to exchange with faraway family members, but with slick typography and layout, founder Duncan Munro says these are “e‑cards for people who would rather gouge out their eyeballs than send something tacky”.

As well as Valentine's designs, there are condolence cards, invitations, congratulations and lots of other templates. They're customisable, downloadable, attach‑able, email‑able, tweet‑able, pin‑able, post‑able, and all of that stuff, and mobile friendly to boot.
