Design is serious business, and should be treated as such. That's why the Designers Institute is putting on Design Law 2013, a series of events next month featuring law and insurance specialists discussing important legal information for design professionals.
James Carnie, principal of Clendons Barristers and Solicitors will cover the key laws affecting designers and introduce the 2012 Designers' Institute contract set (hot off the press) while Richard Penberthy, principal of Penberthy Insurance Brokers in conjunction with Harvey Kerr, principal of Auckland Insurance, will talk risk management.
Tickets are $15 for DINZ members and $25 for everyone else.
