With St Patrick's Day not too far off, Jameson has commissioned traditional glass artist David Smith to create a limited edition whiskey bottle, complete with intricate etchings and gilding synonymous with the décor of great Dublin pubs.
Being both a whiskey drinker and a Jameson fan, Smith says it was an opportunity he couldn't pass up.
"It was a natural fit as we both preserve craft and tradition in a contemporary way," he says.
"Having the opportunity to design an iconic bottle which has hardly changed in two hundred years was one that I’m not presented with often, so I am extremely proud to have stamped my signature style onto the bottle.”
The special limited edition Jameson bottle will be available in New Zealand from March 1.
