Just in time for Christmas, Thanks has released this limited-edition Sidekick stool by Mt Maunganui furniture designer Timothy John.
It's inspired by the silhouette of a glass science beaker, resembling a 3D line drawing of its form, and as the contents were contained with a cork stopper, so too the stool top is made of cork.
"We have been rather fascinated with cork lately so it was a must to include it in this design. We got talking to Timothy who was on the same page, developing a stool with the inspiration of the old school science beakers."
Available in salt and pepper (black or white) for $399, the Sidekick is visually light, unimposing and easily incorporated into any space.
