Furniture designer Warren Twisleton is all about comfort and relaxation – a philosophy that extends into the pieces he creates.

My first job was... sales. Picking up pinecones on the farm, and selling them in old sacks on the side of the road to neighbours.

And now the title on my business card is... Director.

Which really means... accountant, strategist, product designer, sales, marketing...and receptionist!

My day starts with... scrambled eggs and beans, always a good kickstart in the mornings.

And ends with... a bit of down time in a bean bag in front of the TV, sometimes with a big glass of wine!

And in between, I ... do a bit of everything. Each day is different, which keeps life interesting, and is one of the things I love about running a business. Variety is the spice of life!

My first artistic memory is... creating a beautiful crayon mural on the lounge wall. Age 2. My parents loved it.

If I wasn't doing this, I'd ... be doing something else creative. Graphic Design. Photography.

I'm inspired by... relaxing. It works two ways. I strive to create products that offer optimum levels of comfort to make the most of the limited time we have for relaxing these days. And then when I’m relaxed, whether it’s sitting on a beach or driving my car through the countryside, or chilling out in a bean bag on my balcony, I am most creative and find inspiration.

I can't live without... Music. Good food. Good wine. The beach. The mountain.

True 'style' is... finding something that compliments you, or your environment. Everyone’s style is different; you just need to find what works for you.

My work in three words is... Live. Lounge. Lujo.

Warren Twisleton is the owner of Lujo and designer of luxury hammocks, bean bags and a soon-to-be-released sun-lounger
