The incredible durable cardboard bike

The incredible durable cardboard bike

Israeli designer Izhar Gafni has managed to build a working bicycle out of cardboard – one that looks pretty groovy to boot.

As this video shows, the bike is constructed with cardboard, taking inspiration from a similar project that built a cardboard canoe (he compares the process to origami), with a coat of paint for protection and durability.

While it's unlikely you have the skillz Gafni boasts, if you did, you too could theoretically build your own two-wheeler for the princely sum of $10.
