Historic chapel sweeps Interior Awards

Auckland's St Thomas’ Chapel in St Matthew-in-the-City Church by Salmond Reed Architects claimed the Supreme Award at theInterior Awards this week, as well as the Culture and Civic category.

The winning heritage restoration beat out the 120 entries from 60+ design practices, vying for awards in five categories - retail, hospitality, culture and civic, workplace and installation design.

An Emerging Design Practice award was also announced, going to Assembly Architects.
