Kiwi talent flourishing one year on

Objectspace's latest exhibit is a nod to the five young creatives lucky enough to showcase their work at Talente 2011, Germany’s prestigious craft, design and tech fest for emerging talent from around the globe.

Talente: One year on features large-scale photographs of their work and their projects since.

Exhibitors include contemporary jewellers Rachel Bell, Sam Kelly and Flora Sekanova, ceramicist Corrina Hoseason and graphic designer Anzac Tasker.

The exhibition has been programmed to run from March 9-April 18, alongside Talente 2012 to generate awareness of the event and the significant contribution made by these New Zealanders.

Objectspace is also hosting the Best in Show 2012 from March 17-April 21, an annual exhibition featuring outstanding work from applied arts graduates from across New Zealand.

Idealog has been covering the most interesting people, businesses and issues from the fields of innovation, design, technology and urban development for over 12 years. And we're asking for your support so we can keep telling those stories, inspire more entrepreneurs to start their own businesses and keep pushing New Zealand forward. Give over $5 a month and you will not only be supporting New Zealand innovation, but you’ll also receive a print subscription and a copy of the new book by David Downs and Dr. Michelle Dickinson, No. 8 Recharged (while stocks last).
